Ursa Providing Demo of Satellite Imaging Analytics Application at GEOINT 2016

Ithaca, NY – May 13, 2016 – Ursa Space Systems Inc. (Ursa) today announced that they will be exhibiting at the upcoming GEOINT 2016 symposium, May 15-18 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, FL and demonstrating their satellite imaging analytics application called Ursa Maps™ for commercial customers.

The company will be exhibiting as an opportunity to talk to customers about their needs, demonstrate their capabilities, and answer questions about their long term plans for a US-based commercial, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation.  Their application, Ursa|Maps, provides oil tank volume measurement, ship monitoring (including ships not broadcasting AIS), and car counting which are derived from SAR satellite imagery and delivered in an easy-to-use map-based application for commercial customers. “Our vision is to make powerful data from satellite imaging easier to use,” says Adam Maher, president and founder of Ursa. “Ursa Maps provides a vision of what this looks like.”  Ursa will be demonstrating Ursa|Maps at Booth 1219 of the GEOINT 2016 Exhibit Hall.

Ursa has also partnered with PAR Government Systems Corporation to provide similar satellite imagery derived data on PAR’s GvSA(TM) application for government customers which is available on the NGA GEOINT App Store.  PAR will be demonstrating GvSA at Booth 432 of the GEOINT 2016 Exhibit Hall.
