Ithaca, NY – April 20, 2017 – Matt Wood, VP of Sales and Marketing at Ursa Space Systems, will be speaking at Earth Pixels 2017 on April 25, 2017 in Milpitas, CA.

Earth Pixels 2017, co-located with the Space 2.0 Summit, focuses on how companies use satellite data to increase their profits. Matt will offer his insights as part of the “Sat Data for Energy Applications” panel.

Prior to joining Ursa, Matt was most recently Go-to-Market Lead at Google / Terra Bella and Skybox, where he led the team and strategy for satellite-imagery based analytics products. He has deep expertise using satellite data for energy applications, focusing on business intelligence in the oil and gas sector. He is currently leading the launch of Ursa’s expanded China Oil Storage Report, which is a weekly report covering 76% of all of China’s above-ground crude oil stocks. Ursa also provides Event-Driven Monitoring services to deliver information about specific refinery down times or new capabilities coming online.
